10 years ago I volunteered at the Neenah Animal Shelter, During that time, I fell in love with many of our animals but two of the longterm shelter residents forever claimed a piece of my heart. First was a fluffy long-haired black cat named Madison who was afraid to trust & love. The second was an older gentle ginger gentleman named Oliver who loved to cuddle but had some health issues. Neenah Animal Shelter and the staff and volunteers provided them both with loving care & a safe haven for TWO YEARS. When we had to move away from the area, I could not leave them behind and fortunately my husband John agreed so we became their forever home and I know that was exactly as it was meant to be.
This year has been tough for everyone including animal rescues & shelters. A lot of fundraisers that keep the operations going have had to be cancelled. So this virtual event is so important.
Please ... Help me raise funds for the Neenah Animal Shelter, so they can continue their Life Saving mission to humanely care for lost, surrendered, neglected and abandoned animals until loving, forever homes are found for them.
